Two of the best-know voices in Galicia today, Guadi Galego and Ugia Pedreira, come together to sing traditional shanties, delving into their childhood memories and reworking the songs their parents sung to them together with other compositions of their own also inspired by the sea with contemporary instrumentals by one of the country's most gifted Jazz musicians Abe Rábade.
Guadi Galego (vocals), this musician has written for and performed with several groups and is well-know for the vocals and bagpipes with the group Berrogüetto.
Ugia Pedreira (vocals), this erstwhile lead-singer of the very successful group Chouteira has now gone on to become the vocals for the group Marful. She was also a founding member and director of the Galician School for Traditional and Folk Music in Lalín.
Abe Rábade (piano), this Galician pianist is internally acclaimed as one of the best trained Jazz musicians today. He has been playing with the Abe Rábade Trío since 1996.
